Penmonkey Spotlight!

Donna Rewolinski is the author of the Novice Mystery series. She has a master’s degree in Social Work, is a practicing social worker, and is married to a veteran police detective. Donna belongs to the Red Oak Writer’s Critique Roundtable, Blackbird Writers, Sisters of Crime, and the Wisconsin Writer’s Association.

Her third cozy mystery novel, Novice Mystery: France is available now from Ten16 Press.

Fractured Lit’s Legends, Myths, and Allegories Prize. Deadline Apr 16

The Hal Prize accepts submissions in fiction, nonfiction, poetry and photography. The best of these submissions are published in the annual literary magazine, 8142 Review, which comes out in November. The contest opens May 1 

The Jade Ring Contest sponsored by the Wisconsin Writers Association is now open to receive fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Deadline: June 2

Solstice Lit Mag‘s 2023 Annual Literary Contest is now OPEN for Submissions in poetry, nonfiction, fiction, and graphic lit.
Deadline: June 1

Wisconsin Writers Association’s online literary journal, Creative Wisconsin, is now open for submissions. Lots of categories. Deadlines for next edition: May 15.
